Wake Up Beautiful was founded more than 20 years ago around a belief that still guides us today:
Feeling good about the way you look isn't frivolous. When you feel confident in yourself, you carry some of that confidence into everything else you do.
What began with permanent makeup and the idea of helping women quite literally wake up beautiful has grown into a comprehensive aesthetics brand with locations in Laguna Niguel and Newport Beach, as well as the Wake Up Beautiful Academy.
The treatments have changed dramatically over the years.

Then we help you understand the options available, what they realistically can and cannot accomplish, and what makes sense for your goals, lifestyle, budget and downtime.
Sometimes the right answer may even be that a treatment isn't going to give you what you're looking for.
We think you deserve to hear that, too.
A Note From Brandi
When I started Wake Up Beautiful more than 20 years ago, medical aesthetics looked very different than it does today.
I had this idea that beauty treatments and medical aesthetic treatments didn't need to feel so separate. Why couldn't you have access to sophisticated treatments and medical expertise in a place that felt warm, beautiful and familiar, more like the salon environment women already loved being in and less like walking into a doctor's office?
But underneath that idea was something I believed even more strongly.
I've never believed that wanting to feel good about the way you look is frivolous.
When we feel confident in our appearance, I believe we carry some of that confidence into everything else we do: our relationships, our work, the way we walk into a room and simply the way we feel about ourselves.
That's really where Wake Up Beautiful began.

I started in permanent makeup (hence the name Wake Up Beautiful) and I've had the incredible experience of watching this industry completely transform.
And I've evolved right along with it.
If you've watched any of my videos, you already know I'm endlessly curious about this stuff. I want to know what's new, what's actually working, what the science says, who's a good candidate and what's worth the money.
And yes, I'm usually the first guinea pig.
If we're excited about a treatment, chances are I've tried it on myself first.
But research is only part of it.
I listen. A lot.
I talk to our medical providers. I talk to our clients. And I watch what happens after the treatment.
How much downtime did they actually have? Did they love their result? Was the recovery worth it? Would they do it again? What surprised them?
I listen. A lot.
After more than 20 years in this business, I've learned there's a difference between a treatment that sounds exciting and one that people are genuinely excited they did.
I'm not a medical injector. We have talented, licensed medical professionals who perform our medical treatments.
My lane is a little different.
I'm the person asking a million questions. I'm trying things myself. I'm watching. I'm listening. And I'm constantly asking:
How can we do this better?
And Then Came the Academy...
The Wake Up Beautiful Academy actually grew out of that same question.
As I was trying to hire injectors, I kept meeting medical professionals who were passionate about aesthetics and clearly had so much potential, but they couldn't get their foot in the door.
They would take courses and then hear:
"We'd love to hire you, but you need more experience."
And I remember thinking:
How exactly are they supposed to get experience if nobody will give them experience?
I didn't just see a hiring problem. I felt for them.
These were smart, motivated medical professionals who wanted a career in aesthetics, but there wasn't a clear path between taking a course and becoming truly comfortable treating patients.
That gap bothered me.

So, in true entrepreneurial fashion, I decided to build what I wished had existed for the people I was trying to hire.
Wake Up Beautiful Academy was built around what I thought was missing:
Real hands-on experience.
Small classes. Lots of live models. Experienced aesthetic medical professionals beside you. Real faces. Real anatomy. Real decisions. And enough repetition to begin developing genuine confidence.
Somewhere along the way, I realized Wake Up Beautiful had come full circle.
I started this company believing confidence in the way we look can spill over into other parts of our lives.
Years later, the Academy became about helping medical professionals build the experience and confidence to pursue careers they were excited about.
More Than 20 Years Later...
Wake Up Beautiful looks very different from the business I started all those years ago.
But I don't think the way I make decisions has changed very much.
I pay attention to people.
What are they excited about? What are they struggling with? What are our providers seeing? What are our clients telling us? What's delivering beautiful results, and where is there an opportunity to make something better?
Yes, I'm an entrepreneur. I love building things.
But I think the best things I've built have started with empathy: seeing something through someone else's eyes and thinking, there has to be a better way to do this.
And I'm still asking the same questions:
What's possible? What actually works? And how can we use it to help someone feel even better about themselves?
Because I still believe what I believed at the beginning:
Feeling confident in the way you look can change the way you show up in your life. And there is absolutely nothing frivolous about that.
